Dr David Weiss has been passionate about an IB education since 1983, when he became the IB Coordinator at South Side High School in Rockville Centre, New York, USA. He has implemented IB programmes in Rockville Centre, Commack and Long Beach, New York. David joined the IB as Head of IB World Schools (US Public Schools) in 2017 after retiring from the New York State public school system as the Superintendent of Schools of Long Beach Schools.
